At LSPCA.ie, you can keep up to date on all that we’re doing at the Laois SPCA, see our upcoming events, find out how you can help us and see the animals we have in our care waiting to be rehomed.
If you can, we would be very grateful if you could donate to the Laois SPCA on our Donations page. Your donations go directly to helping the animals in our care.
Don’t forget to visit the Laois SPCA charity shop in Hynd’s Square, Portlaoise! All proceeds go directly to helping the animals in our care.
The Laois SPCA have so far this year subsidised the neutering of nearly 500 owned cats and issued over 70 half-cost neutering vouchers to dog owners. This has only been possible because of the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine Animal Welfare Grant for which we are extremely thankful.(new)
We are currently looking for both cat and dog foster carers. All vetβs bills, food and litter are covered by us. All we need is your time and compassion. Every day we have several calls from people finding kittens, or people finding litters in their garden and asking us to pick them up. We usually have a lot of cats and kittnes in our care, with only a handful of foster carers.

31st Jan 2021For the month of February, we are running a subsidised cat neutering scheme.
